On Thursday 1st July-30 members, were booked in to hear Brian Carline, he had visited the club before, this time giving information on making good peat free compost and tips on taking cuttings from and growing pelargoniums and fuchsias. Brian contributed a large potted fuchsia to the raffle table

Thurs.2nd Sept. The speaker will be Lou Nicholls the head gardener from Ulting Wick sharing with us her experiences of being in that position, this is a local garden well known or the ornate planting giving colour all the year round. This garden was shown on Gardeners World Fri 23rd July.

Lou has previously worked at Sissinghurst Garden, famous for it's white garden also at Hole Park well known for a blue bell wood, both gardens are in Kent and open to the public. . Lou will be bringing plants, cards and artwork to sell in aid of the NGS.
